CFSM draws its academic staff exclusively from tenured members of the UDSM and the Centre meets all their costs for work undertaken on behalf of the Centre. CSFM receives regularly financial assistances from neither the University of Dar es Salaam nor any other source. Funds are raised on a project basis by submitting proposals to interested prospective donors.
